As I put out one of the styles of my writing out for everyone I am in the process of editing this website, editing the first novel I will publish, and fighting with all the swirls in my head. As to the first novel, this is actually my second, but it’s the first which will see the light of day.
Last year I was bogged down with my first story, “Accounting for the Mob.” That one is taking me pretty much twenty years to get out there. So, last year I got stuck in the rut every writer slides into, and started this new story. I decided I will publish this one independently because I need to formalize something. So that is what “Still Learning to Love” is all about. A mixture of getting to know some characters and letting their footsteps lead the way. Shortly it will be out there for everyone to read and, I hope, enjoy.
The cover reveal (which I totally LOVE ❤️) will be 12 days before summer begins. I’ll leave that for homework. Who knows, maybe the book will be revealed that same day, but to play it safe, since this is my first work to publish, I’ve set the date for the cover reveal to that day.
Summer will be extremely busy for me. I will have to learn to market and connect everyone with Jan and Tim, the main characters in my novel. However, I am now eager to continue with my first work of love. I will write a post about how that came about and why it took so long for me to get it done.
Look throughout the site for bits and pieces of “Still Learning to Love” as well as in social media: Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. On the site I will also have (very shortly) an audio clip (or a few) from “Still Learning to Love.”
Meanwhile, I am looking forward to meeting the readers of this coming work. I hope you like summer romance because that’s what’s coming to you from bright sunny Florida!
She breaks the spell, the silence. ‘The ocean looks lovely,‘ she says turning her face toward the east, shutting her eyes as the ocean breeze kisses her face, ‘Want to go for a swim?‘
